About CherryChat
What is CherryChat?
CherryChat is a multi-model AI platform. One account gives you chat models from GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek and more, plus AI image, video and music generation, a personal knowledge base and ready-made skills. The interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. CherryNio and Cherry Agent are separate products from the same company: CherryNio offers API access, and Cherry Agent is a desktop app for local office work.
Is CherryChat an official OpenAI, Anthropic or Google product?
No. CherryChat is operated by CHERRYCHAT LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom (company number 16096119). It connects to GPT, Claude, Gemini and other models through their providers’ APIs and is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI or any other model maker.
Do I need an OpenAI or Anthropic account?
No. A CherryChat account is all you need to use every model on the site. You don’t sign up with each provider, and you never share another service’s login with us.
Can I use it on my phone? Is there an app?
CherryChat runs in the browser, so it works on computers and phones with the same account. On a phone you can add it to your home screen and open it from an icon, just like an app.
Payment
Which payment methods are accepted?
WeChat Pay, Alipay and bank cards. Card payments go through Stripe checkout and are charged in Chinese yuan (CNY). Purchases usually arrive within seconds; if yours has not arrived after 10 minutes, contact support on WeChat (JsnonoChat) with your order number. A few low-priced items cannot be paid by card, so check the options shown at checkout.
Can I pay with an international bank card?
Yes. Card payments are processed by Stripe and charged in CNY; your bank converts the amount into your card’s currency and may add a foreign transaction fee, depending on its terms. WeChat Pay and Alipay are also available.
Can I get an invoice?
CherryChat is operated by a UK company, so it cannot issue Chinese fapiao. If you need a receipt for expenses, message support on WeChat (JsnonoChat) with your order number to request an invoice from the UK company or a payment record.
Plans and credits
What is the difference between a plan and credits?
The Unlimited plan for featured models comes as an annual or monthly pass, plus a one-day trial pass for new users; while it is active, the featured models listed on the plan are unlimited and use no credits. Credits are charged by actual usage, never expire and work with every credit-billed model and feature (¥1 = 100 credits). You can hold both: models covered by your plan always use the plan first.
Which models does the Unlimited plan for featured models include?
The models listed on each plan on the Pricing page; the list is updated as new models launch. Models outside that list, including premium models and those marked as not included in plans, are billed in credits, and AI music and video currently use credits too. Image models included in a plan come with free images per request; extra images in the same request are billed per image.
Will my plan renew automatically?
No. Plans stop when they expire and are never charged automatically. Renewing the same plan extends its end date; different plans run side by side rather than stacking.
Is there a free trial?
New accounts get some free credits to try credit-billed models and image generation, and new users can also buy a one-day trial pass for the featured models. See the sign-up and Pricing pages for the current amounts.
Account
How do I sign up and log in?
Sign up with any email address, or log in with Google. You can also choose WeChat login on the sign-in page: follow the CherryChat account on WeChat and send it the code shown on screen.
I signed up with a phone number on the old site. Can I still log in?
Yes. Log in with your phone number and your existing password; your balance and plan carry over automatically. SMS codes are no longer available, so if you have forgotten your password, contact support on WeChat (JsnonoChat). After verifying your identity, we can link an email address or reset the password.
Models
Which AI models are available?
Chat models come from OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), DeepSeek, Moonshot AI (Kimi), Zhipu (GLM), Xiaomi (MiMo) and others. For images there are GPT Image and Nano Banana; for video, Seedance, Kling, Hailuo and Grok Fast; for music, Suno. The Models page lists every model with its live price and capabilities.
Can I switch models in the middle of a chat?
Yes. Pick another model in the chat’s model selector; the change applies to that conversation. You can ask the same question again with another model and compare the answers yourself.
Can it search the web for current information?
Yes. When a question needs up-to-date information, the model searches the web automatically and cites its sources in the answer. There is no switch to turn on.
Can it read files and create Word, Excel or PowerPoint files?
You can upload images, PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text files for the AI to read, summarize or revise (video uploads are not supported yet). Models with tool use can also create downloadable Word, Excel and PowerPoint files from a single request.
Can it replace coding agents like Claude Code or Codex?
No. Those tools edit code directly inside a project on your computer. CherryChat is a chat-based workspace: it can write snippets and explain or fix code you paste in, but it does not work on your local project files.
Privacy and data
How is my chat data used?
To generate answers, your messages are sent to the provider of the model you use. CherryChat itself uses them for billing, conversation memory and abuse prevention. We do not use your conversations to target ads and do not sell them to data companies. Passwords are stored only as hashes, and card and payment account details are handled by the payment providers; CherryChat never sees them.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Contact support; after verifying your identity, we will handle the request under applicable law. Some transaction records must be kept for a period for financial compliance.
